Gujarat Giants Possible Retained Players
# Elite Retained Players
(1) Rakesh Sungroya

Rakesh Sungroya, a very quality Right Raider who has been with Gujarat Giants for several seasons. He originally joined the franchise as a New Young Player (NYP) and has now completed five seasons with the team. If retained this season, he will be retained under the Elite Retained Player (ERP) category.
Last season, Rakesh scored 114 raid points in 16 matches, continuing his impressive run of performances. Given his consistency and experience with the franchise, Gujarat Giants are expected to retain him once again.
(2) Himanshu Singh

Himanshu Singh is a young and talented Right Raider who impressed with his performances last season. Representing Gujarat Giants, he scored 78 raid points in 15 matches in PKL Season 12. Considering his consistent performances and potential, Gujarat Giants are most likely to retain him for the upcoming season.
(3) Nitin Panwar

Nitin Panwar is a Right Cover defender who was bought by Gujarat Giants for ₹13.70 lakhs in the previous PKL Auction. He had a solid campaign, scoring 31 tackle points in 18 matches. Considering both his performances and reasonable retention value, Gujarat Giants are likely to retain him for another season.
(4) Lucky Sharma

Lucky Sharma is a Right Corner defender who enjoyed an impressive PKL Season 12, scoring 36 tackle points in 16 matches. Gujarat Giants signed him for ₹19.50 lakhs in the previous auction.
His retention price is still reasonable, and with the consistent performances he delivered last season, he is another strong candidate to be retained by the franchise.
(5) Ankit Dahiya

Gujarat Giants signed Ankit Dahiya at his base price of ₹9 lakhs in the previous PKL Auction as a Category D player. Although he entered the auction as a raider, he made a much bigger impact in defense and delivered an impressive all-round performance.
In 11 matches, he scored 25 tackle points along with 18 raid points, proving his versatility. His performances make him a strong contender to be retained by Gujarat Giants.
# Retained Young Players
(1) Parteek Dahiya

Prateek Dahiya is a highly talented player who has already shown his potential with Gujarat Giants. He is currently in the third year of his Retained Young Player (RYP) contract, which means he will automatically remain with the franchise under the RYP category.
Last season, injuries limited his opportunities, and he featured in only 4 matches, scoring 14 raid points. Despite the setback, Gujarat Giants are expected to continue backing the young raider as part of their long-term plans.
# Existing New Young Players
Players in this category are those who enter the second year of their two-season NYP contract. Since they were signed as NYPs last season, they will automatically remain with the franchise next season under the Existing New Young Player category.
