Haryana Steelers Possible Retained Players

# Elite Retained Players

(1) Vinay Tewathia

Vinay Tewathia began his PKL journey with Haryana Steelers in Season 7. Since then, he has remained with the franchise and has been one of their most consistent performers. A highly talented Right Raider, Vinay scored 134 raid points last season. Looking at his consistency and contribution over the years, he is most likely to be retained by Haryana Steelers.

(2) Jaideep Dahiya

Jaideep Dahiya is currently one of the finest Left Cover defenders in India. Over the years, he has improved tremendously and has also developed into an exceptional captain. He continues to deliver outstanding performances for Haryana Steelers, finishing last season with 68 tackle points in 19 matches. Haryana Steelers are highly unlikely to release him.

(3) Rahul Sethpal

Another outstanding defender, Rahul Sethpal has established himself as one of the best Right Corner defenders in the league. He has scored more than 100 tackle points across the last two PKL seasons for Haryana Steelers. The franchise will surely look to retain him at any cost.

(4) Ghanshyam Magar

Haryana Steelers used their two-year FBM card on Ghanshyam Magar during the previous PKL auction for ₹13 lakhs. The talented Nepali raider is therefore automatically retained for the second year of his contract under the Elite Retained Player (ERP) category.

(5) Hardeep Kandola

Hardeep Kandola is another player on whom Haryana Steelers used a two-year FBM card at the previous auction for ₹13 lakhs. The Left Corner defender may not have delivered outstanding performances, but he still managed to score 19 tackle points last season. Since he is in the second year of his FBM contract, he will also be retained automatically.

# Retained Young Players

(1) Shivam Patare

Shivam Patare is a talented young raider from Maharashtra who joined Haryana Steelers as a New Young Player (NYP). Since then, he has impressed everyone with his performances. Last season, he scored 155 raid points in 19 matches and was one of the heroes of the PKL Season 11 final against Patna Pirates. With immense potential and currently in the second year of his RYP contract, he is certain to be retained.

(2) Jayasoorya NS

Jayasoorya NS is another raider who is currently in the second year of his RYP contract. After joining the league as an NYP, he has shown glimpses of his talent. However, last season wasn’t very promising, as he managed only 10 raid points in six matches. Even so, he will continue with Haryana Steelers under the RYP category.

(3) Vishal Tate

Vishal Tate is also in the second year of his RYP contract. Last season was disappointing for him as well, with 16 raid points in just seven appearances. Nevertheless, he is expected to be retained under the RYP category.

# Existing New Young Players

Players in this category are those who enter the second year of their two-season NYP contract. Since they were signed as NYPs last season, they will automatically remain with the franchise next season under the Existing New Young Player category.
