# Elite Retained Players

(1) Aslam Inamdar

Aslam Inamdar has been the captain and one of the most important players for Puneri Paltan over the years. He once again led the team to the PKL Season 12 Final, although they narrowly missed out on the title. Individually, Aslam contributed in both departments, scoring 57 Raid Points and 19 Tackle Points in 17 matches. While those numbers are slightly below the high standards he has set for himself, his all-round ability, leadership, and game awareness remain invaluable. One of the smartest players currently on the kabaddi mat, Aslam is almost certain to be retained by Puneri Paltan.

(2) Pankaj Mohite

Pankaj Mohite continues to be one of Puneri Paltan’s most dependable raiders. Whenever the team needs crucial raid points, he has consistently stepped up with match-winning performances. Last season, he scored 118 Raid Points in 19 matches, once again proving his quality and experience. With his consistent performances, Puneri Paltan are expected to retain him for another season.

(3) Mohit Goyat

Mohit Goyat is a highly talented raider who has impressed in previous seasons with Puneri Paltan. However, PKL Season 12 was a disappointing campaign for him, as he received limited opportunities and managed only 11 Raid Points in 6 matches. Despite that, his quality is unquestionable. Puneri Paltan may still retain him as a strike raider or backup option, although releasing him is also a possibility. At the moment, his retention looks like a 50-50 decision, but he still has a slightly higher chance of being retained.

(4) Mohammed Amaan

Mohammad Amaan is a Left Corner Defender whom Puneri Paltan signed in the previous PKL Auction using a two-year FBM Card for ₹35 lakhs. He scored 9 Tackle Points in 9 matches last season, and although his performances were below expectations, his retention is almost automatic. Since the franchise used a two-year FBM Card, he is expected to remain with the team for PKL Season 13 regardless of last season’s performance.

(5) Gaurav Khatri

Gaurav Khatri has established himself as Puneri Paltan’s primary Right Corner Defender. He enjoyed an outstanding PKL Season 12, scoring 62 Tackle Points in 19 matches, proving himself to be one of the best defenders in his position. Considering his performances and importance to the team, Puneri Paltan are almost certain to retain him.

# Retained Young Players

(1) Aditya Shinde

Aditya Shinde, a talented Left Raider, had a breakthrough season in PKL Season 12. He scored 159 Raid Points in 18 matches, making it the best campaign of his PKL career so far. He now enters the third year of his Retained Young Player (RYP) contract and will automatically remain with Puneri Paltan for the upcoming season.

(2) Dadaso Pujari

Dadaso Pujari is a Right Corner Defender who enters the second year of his RYP contract, meaning he will automatically be retained for PKL Season 13. He featured in 8 matches last season and scored 9 Tackle Points. Puneri Paltan will be hoping he continues his development and earns more opportunities in the upcoming season.

# Existing New Young Players

Players in this category are those who enter the second year of their two-season NYP contract. Since they were signed as NYPs last season, they will automatically remain with the franchise next season under the Existing New Young Player category.
